She would collect recipe books if she could, but they are so expensive…and heavy! Since we had to leave Ukraine a month and a half ago, she has missed having the time and space to bake. In Romania she would do it a bit, especially because we had access to lemons and rosemary, she had fun making Lemon Rosemary Shortbread cookies. Then when we discovered we would be going to Norway and had to drive there, she was extremely excited to go through Italy and France. These two countries are two that she loves to dream about, bake recipes from, and has always wanted to visit. So, in both of those places we took two days instead of just one.
