This was a great week!
We had some wonderful visitors – Dad stayed until Tuesday night and Chris and Katie Johnson arrived Sunday! They treated us to a great dinner at Quinn’s – fresh fish and Chips! They are leading the DTS in Honolulu with a wonderful team – 3 DTS’s joined Kona’s 3 for one week with some great speakers.
We worked through Joshua and the conquest of Canaan. Be strong and courageous to obey YHWH. There was also a fun map assignment – I haven’t coloured in a map in a long time, try it again some time. Our speaker also briefly introduced the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict for us – thats a tough one. Especially for myself, I like it when people just get along. But I can proudly tell you that I now know what the west bank means.
On that note, let us be thankful for the incredible peace we enjoy in our daily lives!
