It is good to learn from others mistakes.
This week we were studying 2 kings, Saul and David. They both disobeyed God and experienced the consequences of it. One rejected God and went his own way and one repented and returned to God. From the outside their experiences were quite similar but on the inside, one experienced hope and refreshment and the other experienced torment.
Sometimes I like to think I can do what I want but at the end of the day I end up regretting it and find myself realizing that the best way is to obey God, then I experience freedom and joy inside.
