Transition week – the week between semesters is now behind us. But we had a wonderful week filled with rest, hiking, windy roads and beautiful views! We hopped a short commuter flight for the garden island, Kauai b/c we had to leave the base anyway.
We each made it through almost three books, some fiction, some biography :) as well as the other pursuits. If you ever want to read a book about a missionary couple who experienced a move of God through their obedience then read one called "Anointed for Burial" by Todd and DeAnn Burke – excellent!
But I think the most enjoyable part was just being there, so even though pictures can never capture an experience, we’ll share them with you and hope you can enjoy the wonder and magnificence of God’s creation and simple pleasures.
