This time in history reminds me of when the disciples were in the storm and they wondered why Jesus was sleeping…and then he challenged them, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” Most people agree that the gospel of Mark was written early, to Christians likely suffering persecution for their faith.
It feels a bit like suffering to not have freedom of movement and the ability to plan into the future, but I am trusting that Jesus can calm the storm, and that no matter what happens, I know he is right beside me in the rocky boat.
